Our lakefront home was beautifully remodeled in Fall 2021 and offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights is the covered waterfront deck, complete with ample seating — perfect for enjoying sunrise coffee or sunset cocktails.
You’re welcome to beach your boat in our semi-private cove during the day. The cove is located in a calm, no-wake zone that’s perfect for swimming and easy access to the water. For overnight mooring, boat slips are available through the resort for a small fee.
Inside, the home is fully furnished and thoughtfully stocked with linens, kitchen essentials, and reverse osmosis filtered water on tap. For entertainment, we provide live TV via Roku, plus a guest-friendly login feature that allows you to stream your favorite services — with automatic logout on your departure date for peace of mind. You’ll also enjoy WiFi and a Bluetooth stereo for your music or podcasts.
As our guest, you’ll also have access to the amenities at Sam’s Beachcomber Resort, including the pool, hot tub, boat launch, and slips (arrange directly with the resort office for a small fee). In the winter months, the resort often hosts fun community activities you’re welcome to join.

A Few Things to Note for Your Stay
To help you settle in, we provide a starter supply of essentials such as a roll of paper towels, full rolls of toilet paper, dish soap and a sponge, several trash bags for each waste basket, and hand soap. These are intended to get you started and may not last the duration of your stay, especially for longer visits. Should you need to replenish anything, we’re conveniently located just minutes from town with easy access to nearby stores.
Please also note that we do not provide beach or pool towels. We kindly ask that you do not use the white bath towels provided for the pool, beach, or boat. If you plan to enjoy the water, be sure to pack beach towels from home.
Lastly, due to resort regulations, we are limited to a maximum of six guests per unit, including children. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
PET Policy
We are dog lovers, and you are welcome to bring your dog along when you stay with us. We do charge a pet fee per stay. We also ask that you keep your dog off the furniture.
We’re dog lovers ourselves, and we’re happy to welcome your well-behaved pup to The Lakeside Lounge. A pet fee is charged per stay, and we kindly ask that dogs remain off the furniture.
In accordance with resort rules (and basic pet etiquette), all dogs must be:
- Kept on a leash when outside
- Picked up after
- Quiet and non-aggressive toward others
Please also be aware of resort-imposed restrictions that apply to all guests within Sam’s Beachcomber Resort. Before booking, make note of the following requirements:
- The resort requires proof of current rabies vaccination and valid licensing for each dog
- They have implemented breed restrictions and do not allow Pit Bulls, Chows, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Wolf-hybrids, or any mixed breeds that include these. Final discretion is left to resort staff
These rules are reportedly due to insurance coverage. We want to be transparent: we strongly disagree with breed-specific policies, but we are required to follow the resort’s regulations and appreciate your understanding.
